Delete your Karamellr account

You can permanently delete your Karamellr account and the personal data associated with it.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest and most secure way to delete your account is from within the Karamellr app while you are signed in:

Open Karamellr.
Open Settings.
Select Delete account.
Read the information shown and confirm the deletion.

Using the in-app deletion option allows us to verify that the request is being made by the account owner.

Request deletion without access to the app

If you no longer have access to the Karamellr app, you may request account deletion by emailing us from the email address associated with your Karamellr account.

Security verification

Sending an email does not immediately delete an account. To prevent unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests, we may ask you to verify that you are the account owner before processing the request.

Data that will be deleted

After successful verification, we will delete the Karamellr account and the personal data associated with it, including:

Account and profile information
Profile and gallery images
Likes, matches and connection data
Messages and chat-related account data
Location and discovery information associated with the account
Account preferences and settings

Data that may be retained

Limited information may be retained where required by law, for legitimate security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our terms. Any retained data will only be kept for as long as necessary for those purposes.

Processing time

Verified deletion requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible. We may contact you if additional information is required to verify ownership of the account.
